Mr. Graham calls me Copper. During the second week of November, I managed to break my lead at the place where I used to live. I mean, what would you do? Of cours I ran for it. But then I got lost, and then scared, and then hungry. After walking around Woodbine for a while, some of the other dogs in the neighborhood said that there was a house on Valeria St. where somebody might take me in, so I went there. Sure enough, Mr. Graham was just about to leave for work when he saw me sleeping behind his truck. I knew right away this guy would take care of me. So, Mr. Graham took me in, fed me and gave me a bath...I definitely liked the food better than the bath. He's tried really hard to find my owner w/ fliers, Craigslist, Petfinder, etc. but no luck. I like Mr. Graham, but I know he can't keep me...he gets sad every time he tells me about his dog Petey that he had to give away earlier this year because of how much he works. I'm really good about "doing my business" outside and not in the house. I LOVE to be loved and have only barked 4 times in the last month. I've been staying outside during the day, and inside at night. Mr. Graham thinks I'm some sort of border collie mix with maybe a little sheep dog (I try to herd him around the house sometimes). He thinks I'm about a year old. Mr. Graham is teaching me sit and stay right now in his little spare time, but I could definitely use a trip to school...I'm all about higher learning anyway. I promise I'd make somebody a very sweet family dog. Please help Mr. Graham find me a home!!! |
